I have a wide variety of interests, and am pretty adventurous, so am very open to suggestions, as long as the activities are moral. I enjoy the outdoors a LOT, so most things in the outdoors appeal to me, but I also enjoy going out for dinner (fine dining as well), to movies, etc. There are SO many enjoyable things to do that it's hard to choose from the list!

I sincerely try and pay attention to God and to include Him in my life ... and I think it's amazing what can be co-created by a man and a woman when both have this commitment. Mutual appreciation for a lifetime goes a long way toward intimacy and relationship happiness, I feel, as well. I’m a person who never loses my appreciation for those I’m close to, and I’d want that same quality in a partner. I’d want to be in a relationship where we would have our act together enough to then be able to have time and energy for those around us, too ... especially any children involved.

I’m pretty affectionate and open-hearted, and very forgiving, but also have a fair amount of wisdom ... and I’m not a pushover. It matters to me that my opinions and thoughts be respected by those I’m close to ... and I give that same respect to others.

You'd have to have your finances together, as I've worked hard to make sure mine are; this doesn't mean rich ... just responsible. And, it's important to me that you be somewhat active and appreciate the outdoors, and that you truly love the Lord and being part of the Body of Christ. How you'd treat my family and friends is crucial to me ... I'd treat your loved ones as wonderfully as I'd want you to treat mine.

Although I'm active, I also truly enjoy the quieter times with people I care about ... I think the two really complement each other. I guard time with and focus on those I care about a lot ... I think that's essential to happy and successful relationships.

Most people think that I'm about 40, as I'm pretty enthusiastic about life, and try and live healthy and stay in shape.

One of the things I enjoy the most is supporting the dreams and interests of those I care about. I love being a part of seeing people fulfill their purpose(s) and find their dreams fulfilled. There are very few things I enjoy more than this. I believe my greatest gift is that of encouragement ... I'm usually the one my friends and my children turn to when they need that. As well, I'm usually the one to suggest and organize activities, and love to see what these times do for those around me.

A pastor once told me that he thought the two most important qualities for ministry are to have a great deal of patience with people who keep falling down, and to take the time to listen to someone's whole story. I've taken this to heart.
