I love a good laugh. Life is too short to not to love and laugh. Even if that laugh is at my expense ... a life without laughter and love, is not much of a life. I never pictured myself doing the “online dating” thing before, but having the same interests has to be a good thing… ... and is a great start for any relationship…. so I will try to be as open and honest so you can get an idea who is hiding behind the pictures…since we all study each others pictures first (just saying, since I am guilty of that too). I grew up in in TX, finishing college there and then moved to NJ so I could live and work close to the excitement of NYC. Lived there for five years before finally deciding to move to Phoenix. I loved living on the east coast, but I like being outdoors and the sun – always have. It didn’t take much to realize I needed to live in TX ... especially with the amazing winters and open spaces we have. Who hasn’t called a friend or relative in January to tell them they just finished a backyard bbq? What do I like? Well, it seems like we all like the same things really. Good food. Good movies. Traveling. Being around friends. I certainly love those things too. I’m not the type to watch endless hours of TV but I really do enjoy different movies and shows when I have the time. I enjoy cooking at home when I can, and enjoy it more when there is people to share it with. Sometimes I enjoy climbing Camelback Mountain at the crack of dawn. Sometimes on a Saturday morning I enjoy driving thru the neighborhoods looking at garage sales and the interesting trinkets people have for sale. Listening to all types of current music is a passion and sometimes seeing a live show in Phoenix, or within a few hours drive is always fun. Music is a great communicator. I enjoy, and am comfortable, dressing up in a suit and tie or dressing down, and enjoy if my mate enjoys the same confidence and feels good in what she is wearing. Believe me, if you are wearing something that looks good on you I will tell you. I workout on a regular basis because I really enjoy it and try my best to compliment that with a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy having a drink when I am out and with friends, but not by myself. Travel is another passion of mine - so many places to explore in this country…I want it all. I’ve been to Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East and always looking forward to that next adventure. Seeing how other people and cultures live makes you truly understand who you are and your place in this world. I feel I have been lucky in my life, but that hasn’t come without hard work and discipline over the years.
I appreciate all that I have, but never to a point where I can not enjoy the little things in life. The important things, like; enjoying a beautiful sunset, seeing an old friend, opening an unexpected card, or time with family. Again, it’s all about balance in life to me and never doing anything in excess one way or another but at the same time respecting and appreciating one another. I know that I am a passionate person and want that in return but expect that to be built around commitment and devotion. Ok, I think I wrote too much, so to summarize I am looking for a special someone who can read long boring profiles, and has the same interests ... but also someone who can introduce me to things she likes that we can share together. I want someone similar…. but not exactly the same. I want you to bring new things into my life and I can do the same for you. Maybe I would actually enjoy watching "Dancing with the Stars", who knows? Being outdoors, sometimes staying up late, sometimes getting up early, and sometimes not planning anything at all but to spend time together to spoil one another. It could be just sitting in the backyard with a good book or magazine talking and sharing each others thoughts.
